BNVTS conducts Pre-Deployment and Job Hunting Seminar

Two hundred and sixty-one (261) trainees of Bulusan National Vocational Technical School actively on participated two-day seminar workshop on Pre-Deployment and Job Hunting held on January 10-11,2017 (first batch) and January 13-14,2017 (second batch) at Function Hall, TESDA-BNVTS, Sorsogon.

On-the-job training coordinators, Gina Aguilar and Clarrissa Javier with Student Government Adviser, Senen Aguilar facilitated the workshop. With its purpose to prepare the students to be job-ready and to comply with the requirements for deployment for those who opted to render in-company training; OJT coordinators came up with discussion, activities and workshop that are essential in developing the skills of the trainees.

In the discourse, Aguilar discussed the skills and aptitude needed in the industry that every student should possess and emphasized the importance of attitude and positive work values in the workplace. Also, the trainees were provided tips and workshop on writing effective resume and letter of intent.

More so, the advisers and technical staff were also present to show support for the program. The workshop culminated with quality outputs and positive atmosphere among the participants.
