Dressmaking, Tailoring 2 Stars Validated

September of last year, Dressmaking NC II and Tailoring NC II garnered 2 Stars during the Regional Validation of STAR Rating documents.
Recently, in accordance to TESDA Advisory No 2 series of 2017, an on-site visit and validation of STAR documents had culminated on the 29th of MAy 2017 at TESDA Bulusan NAtional Vocational Technical School (BNVTS)
As per stated on the advisory, the TVIs with garnered stars were reminded to create Quality Teams that will be responsible in managing the conduct of the said visit and validation. Quality teams were composed of BNVTS Assistant Vocational School Administrator, Liberato F. Esteves; Head of Administrative Division, Janet D. Diño and STAR validated qualifications, Dressmaking NC II and Tailoring NC II trainer, Marivic D. Jeresano.
The whole day validation includes the interview with the quality team, review of the documents, visit of facilities, visit research, extension and other projects.
More so, TESDA Central Office officials Josie Ladia Dela Cruz and Zilreen Mae Opeña, Regional Office Representative, Rhea Gomez led the on-site validation.
All pertinent documents were submitted to TESDA Central Office for review of the STAR national board of judges.
BNVTS supports Fire Prevention Month

In line with the observance of Fire Prevention Month and part of tech-voc corporate social responsibility, Bulusan National Vocational Technical School actively participated in unity walk conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection-Bulusan Fire Station held on March 1,2017 around the poblacion.
